A & B SYSTEM C.R. 5000
Chemical Resistant Urethane

Description:  C.R. 5000 is a two component, light stable, non-yellowing aliphatic polyurethan system. When the two components are blended, the polyol and prepolymer react to form a chemically resistant cured film, possesing excellent gloss, hardness and impact resistance.

   

Application:

 

 A & B SYSTEM C.R. 5000 is an effective coating for meeting the demands requiring high chemical resistance and color retention.

Examples: Airplane hangers, battery plants, car dealerships, and chemical storage areas.

  

Performance Properties:
  • All curing times are based on laboratory conditions.
  • Temperature, humidity, etc. will vary curing times.
  • Coverage 300-325 sq. ft. per gallon, (roller or brush) recommended 3-5 mils wet. 
  • Recoat 4-12 hours at room temperature
  • Cure time: permits light traffic after 24 hours; total cure with full chemical resistance 12-15 days
  • Solids content: 45-50%
  • Sward Hardness: 50

Color: Clear and any standard color.
