A & B SYSTEM 5000 URETHANE

Description:  A & B Systems 5000 is a light amber, moisture cure, single component polymer. This system has been formulated for outstanding wear and abrasion qualities. It maintains a glossy finish while increasing light reflectivity. This system is installed in layered coats of approximately 2-3 mils (dry film thickness) per coat. A & B Flooring recommends a three coat system for best results. This coating has a 50-60% solids content.  

Application:  A & B System 5000 is a very effective coating in meeting the demands associated with industrial flooring applications. Examples: stamping plants, automotive plants, warehouses and most manufacturing facilities.

Performance Properties:
  • All curing times are based on laboratory conditions.
  • Temperature, humidity, etc. will vary curing times.
  • Coverage 300-325 sq. ft. per gallon, roller or brush, 4-5 mils wet.
  • Recoat 4-6 hours at room temperature
  • Cure time: Light traffic 8 hours - Full cure 18-24 hours
  • Taber Abrasion: 12
  • Direct impact 160 in-16
  • ASTM 0-968 falling sand test: (amount of sand to remove one mil of coating))
