A & B Flooring was called in to correct the situation. As with any heavy-duty industrial flooring project, preparation is key. A & B first prepped the floors, which had been damaged over the years from steam pipes. Because of their age and what they had to endure, the floors were difficult to clean and even required small edging equipment to prep tight areas where machinery, electrical wiring, and pipes were located. Following preparation, A & B completed the job with the application of S-1000 epoxy coating, all done to the hospital’s rigid specifications. This flooring is resistant to abrasion, impact, and most chemicals, including acids, solvents, and oils.
